Emergency First Response

 

This course is a PADI requirement to be eligible to participate in the Rescue Diver course. The purpose of this course is to prepare you for emergency situations that can be used in daily life and not just in diving situations. You never know when an unfortunate situation could arise so obtaining these skills could one day prove to be vital. 

The EFR course encompasses:

  • CPR for adults, children and infants.
  • First Aid for adults, children and infants.
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
  • Emergency First Response Instructor and Instructor Trainer courses.

Rescue Diver

 

Although diving is exciting, there is always a chance that something could go wrong at any time. This course prepares you in case an emergency situation arises in or out of the water. If you are at the stage where you would like to take this course, then you are already aware of some emergency situations that you may one day come across, such as an unconscious diver at the bottom, or a lost diver. The course involves 10 different scenarios improving a range of different skills with one final scenario where you put all your new skills to work. An exam will follow after thorough study of a comprehensive textbook. As a reward, you will have the satisfaction of being a reliable and confident diver with a Rescue Diver Certificate to prove it.
